Thornton Rampages His Way to Six-Figure Win
Is there anything Ricky Thornton, Jr can't do? Spoiler alert: No.
Thornton proved that this past weekend when he climbed behind the wheel of a stock car and claimed a $100,047 payday by winning the XR Stock Car Rampage event at 300 Raceway. The driver and his team battled just about every obstacle you can imagine but ultimately rallied from the 25th-starting spot to Victory Lane.
Thornton’s win came aboard the Peyton Taylor Racing No. 20RT Cadillac Chassis. Jack Sullivan and Peyton Taylor were both on hand at the race to offer their support during this historic win.
